Creative Critical Reflection Question 4

How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

While working for this project, I've incorporated many  technologies and softwares to help me create the final product.

HARDWARE

When writing the blog I used my laptop as well as my phone. The blog was designed entirely on my laptop, as many of the posts. Sometimes I used my phone to write posts when I was not at home but had an idea in mind that couldn't wait.

For the photos taken during the photoshoot I used my Iphone. I wanted it more than a camera because it was more versatile and easier to use to capture instant photos.

I designed my final project entirely on my laptop, connected to a monitor, so I could see better finer details.

SOFTWARE

My blog was done on WIX. I opted for WIX because it was free, and easy to customize, the blog template was ideal for me.

When it comes to the final project, it was done on Photoshop. I never worked with it before, but managed to grasp the basics and what I needed to know to do my project.

I don't want to forget Canva, a free site where I could find customizable templates I used for the mindmap, as well as these flash cards. The magazine logo was also done on Canva.

ONLINE

Working on my project meant I needed inspiration from somewhere. I browsed on apps such as Pinterest and Instagram for ideas. My blog is up and running online, open for anyone. The final project, the magazine, is available on ISSU.
