Target audience

I’ve done my target audience questionnaire in a different manner. Instead of the usual google forms questionnaire sent to people I don’t even know personally, I opted for a real life q&a with closer friends at a skateshop get-together. I know that the audience wasn’t diverse, but I managed to interview my sought audience nonetheless.
Almost all the people that participated in the questionnaire were teens, although there were some exceptions.
They all skate, which means that they also like skateboarding magazines. Out of the people that I asked, 5 said they are subscribed to a skateboarding magazine, and that they receive it at home, a further 10 said they buy one occasionally from the skateshop, and another 3 said they usually read it online.
Out of these 18 people, 5 said what they like most in a magazine are the long articles that feature interviews with famous skaters, 3 said that they look almost only for adverts, and the rest, 10 people, said that they look over the magazines for action-photos and day to day inspiration.
As I’ve mentioned before almost all the people interviewed were teens, so I would say they fit into the ‘mainstream’ category of magazine readers.
I consider these as my target audience, as I want my magazine to be open to youth culture and appeal to them.
