Another magazine I really enjoy is Thrasher.

I’m not currently subscribed to it, but I can buy it from my local skateshop whenever I want.

This magazine looks into detail everything that has to do with skateboarding.

It was the first magazine of its kind and is still hugely popular with skaters.

Thrasher later evolved into a brand, nowadays making clothes and organising skate contests all over the world. They also host anually the biggest prize in skateboarding, SOTY, skater of the year.

Each magazine has around 200 pages, divided between articles and ads, loads of ads.

All ads in Thrasher are about skateboarding and usually feature a pro skater doing some difficult trick.

Besides ads Thrasher also has a few humorous sketches it developed over the years, mottos such as Skate and Destroy, Use a Skate Go to prison or the image of a young woman complaining about her boyfriend are now well rooted in the skate culture

This magazine is a big source of inspiration for me, as I skate daily and I can find new products, inspiration from skaters and also tips on fashion in the magazine

As all photos in the magazine are done by professional photographers, it’s very captivating to open the magazine for the first time and browse through it.

Thrasher magazine was for me a source of inspiration, information and a exciting read everytime I bought a new one.

I may opt for my final project to do the beginning of a magazine similar to trasher.
