Preliminary Project- Making of

I had a try at doing a collage similar to the album cover.

Throughout the process I made sure to insert photos relevant to the artist's home city, Berlin and photos relating to him.

For the base layer I used a photo of Berlin.

Right in the middle I inserted the artist's name, written like the logo of Airwaves. This logo was made after his hit single 'Airwaves' was released.

Another important detail are the Nokia 3310 phones, popular in the 2010's, featured often in Pashanim's lyrics.

I found a picture of a store called 'euro 2000' and thought is was nice to include it as it's a nod to Pashanim's album title. #

There are also a photo of a Döner Kebab, a very tasty and popular meal in Berlin, of Turkish origins.

Victory Royale, a screenshot taken from the video game Fortnite is present in the middle. Fortnite was immensely popular with Gen-Z from 2017, the year it was released onwards.

Next, I inserted a photo of Pashanim, in the bottom left corner and a photo of a can of Fanta, a soda originally from Germany and a pair of Nike air max Plus, one of the favorite shoe model of Pashanim, he is seen often sporting these in his music videos, along with looser jeans.

Further on I added three times the logo of Lacoste and an Arsenal jersey.

The idea behind this particular football jersey was mine, as Arsenal is my favorite football team. An Arsenal jersey can also be seen in the music video of the Airwaves track.

Another picture of the Nike air max plus can be seen, this time in the 'Voltage Purple' colorway.

In this photo I added a picture of a track from Pashanim, Bagchaser Can, a lighter, a capri sun juice bottle and a cutout of the legendary football player, Maradona. All photos link back to the Artist, he has several lyrics about Capri Sun juice, the lighter is from Pashanim's 'Cano S' merch and maradona is an international football icon, much appreciated by Pashanim.

Lastly I added in the top right corner a photo of a Gucci cap, a personal favorite of Pashanim, the artist rocking one very often.

All photos I used were taken from Pinterest, with the exception of the Arsenal jersey, which is a personal item of mine.
