Preliminary Project- Planning

For the preliminary project I chose to do a album cover inspired by Pashanim's 2000 album, released in 2024.

Pashanim's chose '2000' as the title of the album because it's the year he was born in.

The artwork present on the cover pays homage to the Y2K aesthetic, being full of images that represent the artist.

There are several pictures of Pashanim, real name Can David Bayram, from his childhood. Photos of him don't stop there, the collage is full of pictures depicting him in his teens and as an adult.

There are also references to Palestine, a photo of the flag right beneath the title, and a graffiti banner in the top left.

Pashanim's love for football wasn't left out, the collage is full of football jerseys and a cutout of Antonio Rüdiger, a German football player.

Although barely visible the base layer consists of the Luis Vuitton famous pattern, a nod to the artist's love for 'Haute Couture'. Alongside that, one can spot several other brands, such as Lacoste or Gucci.

Another recurring motif in the collage are cars, pictures of different brands can be seen, such as Porsche, Audi, BMW or Maserati.

Another important detail, harder to spot is a photo of a black and white character from his favorite movie, La Haine, from 1995.

'Saka Wasser', a bottled water brand from Germany isn't left aside, there are several pictures of the product in the collage, there's even a remake of it's logo, with the word 'Pasha' on it.
