Creating this magazine had it's highs and lows.
When I first started this project I was very scared of what was to be done. I didn't have any experience with software like Photoshop, I didn't even do a blog before. As I've slowly began to progress through the project, it became increasingly fun to do.
Now looking back I am really happy that I've chosen this subject, creating a skateboarding magazine was on my bucket list for sure.
I definitely have a few shout outs to give, firstly to the snow that took me by surprise and allowed me to plan the whole article and magazine around, otherwise I wouldn't have had such a nice final project. I also want to mention all the guys that appeared in the photos, they helped me pose for photos, even if that meant sacrificing their riding time.
Finally I want to thank my friend Andrei, who knew from the start what kind of magazine I was doing and didn't hesitate to take pictures of me when snowboarding (I'm the guy with the white helmet and red goggles that appears in almost every photo).
I think that my magazine definitely came out different from what I first imagined, in a good way.
Firstly I never even imagined I could've do an article on snowboarding in my home town.
If I was to do it again, I wouldn't change much, I really think that my article looks good, especially it's rather unique subject and the cool photos, I'm immensely proud of my project.
Some skills that I learned during this journey are definitely the use of photoshop, the sustained habit of writing on the blog, going out with a clear objective, the photoshoot, and overall I really had to stick to a rather strict schedule, and not pass deadlines. I really consider these latter two as valuable skills to have further on.
